    With over 29 years behind me as a full time Realtor, I have been providing my Real Estate and marketing services in Salmon Arm and throughout the Shuswap since 1993. I have on staff (for over 15 years) a full time assistant with over 24 years of Real Estate related experience. This personally is a tremendous help to me, but it is also a huge benefit and asset for all my clients.  By having someone in office to deal with the day to day operations required, (along with youtube videos, highlight sheets, webpage content etc) it allows me the time and energy to focus on what I love to do, and that is the marketing and selling of Real Estate.

  Although I have never strived to be number #1, or any number for that matter,  I have continuously been in the top percentages of all Realtors year after year.  I am very happy and proud that over 90% of my business is repeat clientele, or a direct result of past clients and or friends referrals. For me personally it is rewarding, and in a round about way, it could be considered my resume. By combining a professional outlook, 29 years of experience and lots of hard work, I have been able to maintain the loyalty and trust of so many throughout the years. You can be assured that I treat all my clients and friends in a professional and courteous manner, and that I will always have your best interest in mind.   I have travelled many places throughout North America and a dozen countries throughout the world, and I can not think of a place any more enjoyable and beautiful than where we live in the Shuswap.  Lianne and I, along with our two best friends (Baily & Kobi) enjoy spending most of our free time taking advantage of all that Salmon Arm and the Shuswap has to offer. Whether it is out boating on the lake, camping at the Narrows, taking in an exciting Junior A hockey game, or exploring the endless mountain trails and hidden lakes on the quad, we both absolutely love where we live in the magical Shuswap! 

 

Brenda Kenzie

  Brenda brings with her over 24 years of Real Estate experience and is an integral part of the team.  Her organizational skills along with her knowledge and understanding of what is involved makes my job that much more efficient and effective.  Essentially this allows me time doing what I like to do best, and that is focussing our time and energy with Buyers and Sellers.  I am extremely happy to have her on our team, and so are all my clients! 

Brenda & Dave moved their family from Swift Current, Saskatchewan in 1988 and are proud to call Salmon Arm home.  Brenda loves spending any free time she has in the summer with her family, boating on the beautiful Shuswap Lake, golfing with Dave and friends, and of course -  showing off the Beautiful Shuswap to her family & friends that come to visit from the prairies!  


The Shuswap

The City of Salmon Arm is conveniently located halfway between Calgary and Vancouver at the end of the Salmon Arm portion of the Shuswap lake. The 4 defined seasons and picturesque lake with over 1000 kilometres of shoreline nestled between lush green mountains leaves the doors open to a whole new world. You will be able to enjoy all kinds of activities, such as water & snow skiing, hiking, fishing, nature walks and swimming plus it has to be one of the most scenic and tranquil places anywhere.

The economy of the Shuswap is centered on the Forestry & wood Products, Agriculture & Food Products, and Tourism & Recreation industries. In addition to the large amount of wood harvested each year, the Shuswap has developed a niche in log home manufacturing and capabilities in sawmill machinery manufacturing.

Within the municipality boundaries, there is a considerable amount of good working farmland, used mostly for ranching and dairy farming, hay production and orchards.

The environmental resources and scenic attractions of the Shuswap make the Tourism industry a major part of the area’s economy. It is an ideal setting for power boating, with a number of good beaches, moorages and several provincial parks.

In-migration, particularly of retirees’ is usually important to the economy of the Shuswap. Attracted to the lifestyle of the Shuswap, retirees and pre-retirees moving in the region drive the economy by expanding the requirements for goods and services.
